Direct the activities of Montessori, preschool, and day-care facilities that provide instruction and care for children ranging from 18 months to 6 years. Coordinate and direct programs for toddlers, before and after school programs. Perform classroom teaching duties in absence of instructors. Prepare and submit facility budget to the Board of Directors for approval. Determine the proper instructional materials, teaching aids to stimulate the learning process, and authorize the purchase of such materials. Interview and recommend hiring, retention of teaching staff and service providers. Identify the educational training required for subordinates and develop formal training programs to better serve the students. Confer with parents regarding facility activities,
policies, and enrollment procedure. Confer with the teaching staff regarding child's learning, capabilities, and behavioral problems. Recommend methods of modifying inappropriate behavior and encourage the learning experience. Confer with the attending psychologists and other health care providers regarding child's learning and behavioral difficulties.
Review and assess facility activities to ensure conformance to local and state egulations. Review and approve menu plans and food purchases.
Supervise the teaching staff.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
